Flexible Work Culture
Fools have the flexibility to work where they work best – whether that’s in an office, a local coffee shop, or in the comfort of home. The Motley Fool provides Fools with all necessary tools to ensure work can be done wherever you may choose to do so! Our Flexible Culture allows Fools to have more work-life balance, find talent beyond office locations, and expand how work gets done – both for ourselves and our Foolish subscribers.
Employees are encouraged to locally gather for connection and collaboration on Sync Days, the last Wednesday & Thursday of each month. One to two times throughout the year, your team may travel to an office for Sync Days as well. In-between, our local Jesters plan regular coffee meet ups, Foolishly fun events and co-working opportunities to get to know your fellow local Fools. Fools are also able to travel to Foolapalooza, the annual in-person gathering. Virtually, there are dozens of clubs and social opportunities to participate in as well!
The Motley Fool is open in the following US states for Fools to legally work from home:

Richer
401(k)
Retirement planning is in our blood. Our members come to us for retirement planning, and we are ready to help our employees, too. We’ll help you make the most of your 401(k) and match it up to 6%.
Stock Up
Every Fool is an investor! Within your first year as a Fool, new hires get $1,000 to invest, and another $1,000 every year after that.
Competitive Salaries + Equity
We review salaries four times a year to ensure we remain market-competitive, and every full-time Fool is a shareholder. In addition to new hire equity grants, Fools are eligible for equity awards to recognize outstanding performance.
But wait, there’s more! In fact, there’s A LOT more.
Here’s a sample:
Robust healthcare plans with little to no premiums
Connectivity benefits
Fertility and family-forming benefits
20 weeks paid parental bonding leave
Gear to set up your home office
